Man killed in motorcycle club shooting in Fresno identified

One person was killed, and two others were hospitalized after a shooting at a motorcycle club early Saturday morning in central Fresno.

The Fresno Police Department received multiple calls about three gunshot victims around 2:45 a.m. at the 2000 block of West McKinley Avenue.

When officers arrived, they say they found a 41-year-old man who had been shot multiple times.

He was taken to CRMC where he is listed in critical condition.

Police learned there were two other men who were victims of the shooting that were taken to the hospital in personal vehicles.

One of those two victims, identified as 31-year-old Darnell Johnson, later died at the hospital.

The other victim, a 43-year-old man, is listed in critical condition.

Detectives say an argument broke out during a large gathering of club members and several members fired weapons.

This case involves many witnesses and most of them live outside of Fresno.

Witnesses continue to be interviewed to determine what exactly took place.
