Additional Resources

In the case of inclement weather, we will monitor conditions and provide status updates accordingly. Check the Golf Course Operating Status web page for updates. For additional questions please contact the courses directly.

Outdoor amenities may close early or be put on hold due to weather conditions. If amenities are closed for the day, notification will be provided above. Generally, temporary holds or delays in service are not posted. It is always best to call the park in advance when inclement weather has occurred or is forecasted to occur.

Information pertaining to athletic field status can be found on the Athletic Fields Status website or by calling the Field Status hotline at 703-324-5264.

The website and hotline are updated Monday through Friday by 3 p.m. Leagues and game officials are responsible for determining playability of fields on weekends and County holidays. Should they close fields or cancel games or practices, they are responsible for communicating that information to teams and participants.

In the event classes, programs and camps are cancelled, registered participants will be notified via email of the cancellation as quickly as possible. If you have questions whether a class, program or camp is cancelled due to inclement weather, please contact the site directly for information.
