Kirk Herbstreit releases new top four, next two out following Week 5
Another exciting week of college football has come and gone, and a few teams have made quite an impression on the country. College GameDay analyst Kirk Herbstreit, as usual, had his finger on the pulse of the sport and has listed his top six teams following Week 5 of the college football season.

Following a tough battle with Missouri, Georgia lost the top spot on the list for Herbstreit. The Bulldogs looked like the clear-cut No. 1 team in the country but got all they could handle from the Tigers, barely squeaking out a 26-22 win. Meanwhile, Ohio State looked dominant. Despite giving up the first score of the game, the Buckeyes responded and beat Rutgers by a solid 39-point deficit.
Alabama played a tough SEC West foe in Arkansas and the game was as close as five points in the third quarter. But a 21-3 fourth quarter allowed the Crimson Tide to pull away from the Razorbacks and improve to 5-0. Michigan held Iowa scoreless for the first three quarters of the game, setting up for a rather solid 13-point road win in Big Ten play.
Clemson and Oklahoma State are knocking on the door of the top four after impressive wins themselves. One week after escaping an upset bid, the Tigers beat No. 10 NC State at home by 10 points to improve to 5-0. Oklahoma State remained unbeaten as well, using a 36-25 win over Baylor on the road to improve to 4-0.
