The Nichols Ranch and Orchards hosted its second annual Apple Festival this weekend.
Festival-goers started picking apples Saturday.
The venue is surrounded by the Sacramento Mountains providing great views.
The festival attracted people from Alamogordo, Las Cruces and El Paso.
Folks are able to pick honey crisp, gala, and golden supreme apples from the farm's orchard for a price.
Multiple vendors set up around the festival grounds.
Francy Emilade, sold its fresh lemonade with add-on flavor options like apple and cherry.
If you make it to the festival's last day on Sunday you should give the apple and cherry pie a try as well.
The festival offers other food items.
Apple turnovers, apple cider, caramel apples, cider apple doughnuts and apple pancakes are available from different vendors.
Multiple food trucks like Sasuke's Japanese Curry House were set up on the grounds Saturday.
Walking around, you'll find that kids can experience some fun at a petting zoo and a tractor ride.
Families can also have fun playing carnival games or checking out the art and craft setups.
The two-day festival also offers live music.
The festival will stay open until 5 p.m. Sunday.
It's located at 236 Cottonwood Canyon Road in La Luz, New Mexico.
