Columbus Weather: Sunshine returns to Central Ohio for a nice end to the weekend

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) —
Looks like a pretty nice ending to the weekend! The remnants of Ian will continue to push off to the east as high pressure settles over the area today.

We’ll see a return to some sunshine, with highs topping out in the upper 60s. There could still be a few lingering morning showers in SE Ohio, but most of us will be dry today.

TODAY: Mostly sunny, breezy & cool. High 68
TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cold. Low 45
MONDAY: Sunny & pleasant. High 68
We stay pleasant as we head into the workweek with temps slowly warming into the 70s by Wednesday.
A cold front pushes across the area late Thursday, and that could bring us a few showers by Thursday night.

More significantly, much colder air moves in behind the front, dropping highs into the 50s by Friday!
