Kesha has disclosed that she suffered a vocal chord hemorrhage on stage at the Taylor Hawkins tribute concert on Tuesday in Los Angeles. So technically it means one of singer's vocal chords bursted and bled out at one point.
The "We R Who We R" singer joined Hawkins' cover band Chevy Metal on stage on Tuesday at the Kia Forum in Inglewood to perform a cover of David Bowie's Heroes.
Kesha had an outfit malfunction during her performance and overcompensated by singing too loudly.
She revealed that she chose to sing really loudly to divert attention from my wardrobe malfunction, but now I discovered that I hemorrhaged one of my vocal chords. As a result, she had to upload all the photos from the surreal moment because (because) it was quite something she did not want to forget.
The six-hour charity concert in memory of late Foo Fighters drummer Hawkins, who passed away in March at the age of 50, featured a large number of singers and musicians, including Kesha.
According to Weill Cornell Medicine, during a vocal chord haemorrhage, the vocal fold's tiny blood veins experience phonotrauma, or physical stress during speaking, which results in the bleeding. When they are more delicate than usual, such as when they are enlarged during laryngitis, these may rupture and bleed after loud voicing, after prolonged voicing, or in other situations.

Pink, Miley Cyrus, Alanis Morissette, Joan Jett, Travis Barker, Wolfgang Van Halen, Lars Ulrich of Metallica, Mötley Crüe, comedian Dave Chappelle, and a brief set by the Foo Fighters were among the other performers on the night. The first memorial concert was held earlier in September in London. Both performances raised money for the nonprofit organizations Music Support and MusiCares.
Just recently however, following the Netflix debut of Jeffrey Dahmer's "Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story," Katy Perry, Kesha, and Eminem received criticism.
This month, the graphic "Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story" was made available on Netflix. It examines Dahmer's life and the 17 people he murdered and ate decades ago. Despite topping the list of most watched shows, the show has come under fire for purportedly romanticizing the serial murderer and dramatizing the horrific crimes he committed.
Aside from the show itself, Perry, Kesha, and Eminem got into trouble for the songs they wrote about the murderer.
