PHOENIX — As we move through the first week of October it looks like we're leaving the triple digits in the rearview.

It'll still toasty each day in the Valley with highs in the mid-90s but, the mornings are starting feel more fall-like dropping into the 70s each day.

While the forecast looks promising keep in mind that Phoenix's average last 100-degree day is October 5th, but we've seen triple digits all the way until the end of October before.

Monsoon 2022 has also come to a close but we're not down with the storm action.

Tomorrow and Tuesday we have a 10% chance of scattered storms starting in the afternoon.

It looks to be a more active day across northern and eastern Arizona with a least a chance for thunderstorms each day next week.

Watch out for gusty winds, blowing dust, lightning and brief heavy downpours with any of the thunderstorms that hit our state.
