    1 Nikita was able to have a much better posture and Ellie S waltz was good;
    2 Entertaining from Tony and Katya and liked Katya lifting him;
    3 What a pleasant surprise from Richie although Craig was right about the cartwheel;
    4 Not sure about Matt but Nadiya was gorgeous;
5 They left the best to last. Bravo to Molly and Carlos.

    1. Nice to see the first waltz and Viennese waltzes! Ellie and Nikita's waltz was just spellbinding.
    2. This feels really shallow, but for most of Jayde's tango I was focused on what an awful outfit she'd been put in.
    3. I don't think the futuristic theme fit Hazma's jive at all unfortunately. If a theme is hindering rather than helping I wish they'd get rid of it.
    4. Ritchie was incredible, I wasn't expecting him to be so good this week! But he was still only halfway on the leaderboard.
    5. Not sure who's going out - my big worry is that the show is so long right now, it'll be someone from the start who gets forgotten as the evening progresses. I totally forgot Will's dance until it came back up at the end.

    1. Week 2 always seems a slight let down compared to week 1 but there’s still so many people who could go far!
    2. Glad Tyler had a “redemption” #GetDiannePastWeek4
    3. Beautiful from Ellie and Nikita, love their partnership.
    4. Was very worried when I heard Love on Top was gonna be a QS but it all worked in the end (and the outfits were cool too!)
    5. Could see Matt and James being in the DO - Tony will get the comedy vote and I like how much Kaye is putting in.

    1. Kaye's dance had so much more Charleston content than Tony's, was danced at least equally well, but scored the same. C'mon judges.
    2. Tyler was my favourite tonight and I thought underscored. I really hope he doesn't injure himself running the marathon tomorrow.
    3. Both Ellie S and Fleur's dances moved me to tears. I am due on though.
    4. Tess really needs to go. I whispered "Shut up Tess" under my breath so many times tonight. She's so bloody condescending.
    5. Will's Salsa was very disappointing - looking forward to seeing how he is in Ballroom which surely he must have next.

    1. Molly and Carlos clearly deserved to be top. Crisp and perfick
    2. But I loved Gio and Richie’s QS more (I am inconsistent)—mostly on account of Gio’s slightly sinister (in a good way) showmanship. Loved seeing them put the lie to the doubters
    3. Who looked most like the dancer I want to watch this week? Tyler. Hope his schedule and his marathons don’t crush him. He just has something
    4. Most moved by Ellie S. She and Nikita have my second-favourite partnership (I think). There’s a lovely playfulness and trust between them
    5. But I gave all my votes to Hamza and Jowita’s ploddy jive gorgeous foxtrot in week 1 (and a wee rescued otter cub). Love them. Love his gentleness and generosity

    Tyler last four - contender
    Molly last four - contender
    Ritchie last four
Fleur last four (if she can shuffle her life while doing SCD)

Best dress of the night: Amy
    Music was fab

    1. When did the quickstep stop being danced, just 20 seconds in hold from Gio and Richie tonight. Sometimes I think my advancing years means I don't remember things as well so I watched a few of my favourite quicksteps back, they are danced in hold. Molly the other quickstep could have been great if they had danced it in hold instead they used umbrella's.
    2. With the exception of Rumour has it the singing/ music was good tonight.
    3. I liked Anton last year as a judge, his scoring this year is Bruno like the judges have 10 different scores, judges please use them.
    4. The show flowed better this week and didn't drag like it did last week.
    5. I wouldn't mind losing 3 couples this week.

    1 Wayward marking again
    2. Katya and Gio most entertaining pros no matter who they are given
    3. Seems to be a lot of moaning about technique then dish out an 8
    4. Will probably the most disappointing after week 1
    5. Matt and his hat in trouble.

    1. Ellie and Nikita are a total delight. That waltz was beautiful and very emotional.
    2. The Giovanni/Richie quickstep was my favourite routine of the night but I’m thinking it was maybe more about the choreography… either way I loved it! (And it suited him).
    3. I feel sorry for Matt and I really hope he doesn’t go. He’s had 2 tough dances and isn’t the worst. He’s so watchable for all his eccentricities and I hope he stays longer!
    4. Fleur looked beautiful tonight. I loved her hair and dress!
    5. Jayde, James, Tony and Kaye are totally expendable.

    1. So many contestants gave a very different type of performance from week one. Some improved and some were worse. I have absolutely no idea who is likely to be in the dance-off and I think we might be in a for a really volatile series, with the contestants up and down the leaderboard a lot.
    2. Ellie S was very elegant in that Waltz, and in particular her arm movements were beautiful. I've said it before, but Nikita's doing an amazing job.
    3. Disco Nadiya - wow.
    4. I found a disconnect between some of the dances, the comments and the judges scores. It's always slightly random, but a few times people were praised, while the marks didn't really reflect what had been said, and if I'd been them, I'd have felt a bit deflated.
    5. Molly and Carlos are the ones to beat on the floor at the moment, but there's more to Strictly than technique. (Having said that, I think they are fab, and my joint favourite couple!)

    1. Absolutely loved the whole arrangement and dance by Molly & Carlos. They deserved top spot.
    2. I actually laughed out loud at the skit of Dave Arch marrying Claudia!
    3. Ellie S & Nikita are my fave partnership at the moment - that was stunning tonight.
    4. Thought Tyler was brilliant and so much improved from last week. Felt for Will, he couldn't mask his disappointment at all.
    5. Tony probably should go but I just cannot warm to Matt Goss at all. He seems very aloof for want of a better adjective.

    1. this week felt like a perfect FU to a certain article, love to see it
    2. as much as I love "Blinding Lights," I've been underwhelmed by all the jives I've seen to it, maybe it's just not a great jive song? though it's still better than Coldplay Still love ya Hamza, I know you tried your best.
    3. my gut is saying this B2 may not be so obvious? Could Matt and/or James be in danger? Though part of me kinda, sorta wonders what would be what if Tyler were there, if only to see how the show would spin the whole "dance-off right after running a marathon" charade but he *should* be safe with his LB position?
    4. As I mentioned in the live show thread, I do wonder if Will doing two Latins (or Latin-esque) right off the bat might have been a gamble that might not pay off, I think that salsa would have been much better later in the season...and now it got burned through early.
    5. Was I the only one who got a little deja vu of Davood's samba when watching Matt's?

    1) Tyler was most improved, Dianne did a great job with him this week.
    2) Not a fan of the excuses from Hamza and Will, hate when the celebs do that, just get on with it.
    3) Tony was overscored.
    4) Molly was great but she will be the one in the b2 after a certain amount of time as I dont think she will have a strong enough vote.
    5) I preferred Joe and Dianne's quickstep to dancing fool than Richie's.

    1. Fleur and Kaye were under marked.
    2. Matt Goss just isn’t working, and those trousers were hideously unflattering.
    3. Didn’t like Hamza’s poor attitude this week about the jive not being for big guys. Dance is for everyone.
    4. Talk about saving the best for last…..Mollie and Carlos are a revelation.
    5. It’s time for James to say “Bye” to the competition. He’s clearly the weakest of the bunch imo.

    1. Strangely underwhelmed by most of the dancers tonight - post-premiere dip for me maybe?
    2. I’m still hankering after that point in the show’s run where it gets a decent bit shorter.
    3. Molly is a fantastic dancer, though I’m still distracted by her apparently heavy choice of make up foundation.
    4. Found myself getting teed off by the props, themes and occasional faffing about. Am I channeling Len?
    5. Helen and Ellie S. are still my favourites. I want to see them both grow in confidence, because I love their dances.

    1. I was a little worried how Ellie S's waltz would look, it was incredible, very emotional and dance of the night
    2. Loved Molly's quickstep if she can conjure up the votes a potential winner, tied for best dance of the night.
    3. Richie really danced that quickstep well very impressed, he seemed to be a lot calmer than last week and it showed in the dance.
    4. Tyler was impressive would love to see Dianne win a glitterball (as well as Amy, Karen and Nadia)
    5. I hope Helen can grow in confidence as I think she could be a contender if she can

Sneaky 6 . Did some of the judges have too much Gin before the show?

    1. For all the talk of doubts over Ellie S in hold, I thought she was actually better than last week when she was out of it. Quite the emotional Waltz too.
    2. Richie more restrained and all the more entertaining for it.
    3. Normally a tango can suit an actor, even those without the most dancing ability but I didn't think James really put the attack needed in with his, felt more like a walkthrough at rehearsal and could find himself in trouble.
    4. If not him then Matt. Doing such an iconic number as night fever did him no favours, far better a simpler routine than be 2nd rate cringe.
    5. Hope Kaye manages to stay. She's been better than I imagined and would be interested to see her improve under Kai's capable tutelage.

    1. Jowita! Strictly! Please don't make angelic Hamza do another futuristic routine!
    2. Ellie S made me well up. I loved that dance.
    3. I thought Richie was amazingly improved but my son said "I don't like this marshwiggle bloke" and we missed the judges arguing about it.
    4. Thought Mollie looked cool in her suit.
    5. Liked both quicksteps as routines but I think less than a third of a ballroom routine in hold should be marked down.

    1. I found tonight too drawn out; as others have commented, 15 couples are at least three too many.
    2. Really pleased that Molly closed the show and was top of the leaderboard. She hasn’t garnered much comment on the forum thus far but I’m hoping she’ll last the series. Can’t wait to see her charleston based on tonight’s QS.
    3. I like Will but I don’t think he’s that good. Last week’s jive was not all that and tonight’s salsa was dad dancing in parts.
    4. The band were fantastic with their music and adaptations tonight.
    5. Loved Shirley in hot pink and Motsi in citrus yellow. There were many beautiful and stunning costumes tonight.

    1. Shirley clearly appreciated Tyler fawning over her during the Launch, huh? Not entirely sure why she felt the need to keep on standing when she was giving him her feedback.
    2. Ellie's waltz was beautiful.
    3. Biggest surprise of the night was obviously Richie - especially after last weeks mess.
    4. Matt Goss made me feel nauseous. What a dreadful samba.
    5. An overall disappointing show compared to last week with the standouts being Ellie S, Tyler, and Richie, and the disappointments being Will and Hamza.

    1. Slapstick, gurning Charleston routines need burning with fire.
    2. Nikita is proving to be an excellent addition to the pro line-up.
    3. Luba is wasted standing in the Clauditorium.
    4. The usual Week 2 come down has happened - Movie week will lift them all up again before another crash down in week 4.
    5. Scoring didn't always match with comments tonight.

    1. James had a really bad song tonight
    2. Hamza was surprisingly good - I wasn't expecting great things having watched his Instagram stories of having his knees taped up
    3. Kaye and Tony were both quite good - I would actually be a bit surprised to see them in the dance off
    4. I'll give a 5th thought when Instagram deigns to upload the rest of the dances - I didn't watch live and it isn't on iPlayer yet.

    1. I just found it underwhelming tonight after last week.
    2. I bet Karen's just wishing and hoping she'll be given someone like Chris Ramsey again.
    3. Everyone should have done a ballroom and a Latin by this elimination week for fairness.
    4. Craig was spot on I felt except for Kym & Graziano - didn't rate that VW much.
    5. Ellie Simmonds has a lovely and likeable personality, very much like Rose last year.
