Saturday Night Live

Last night, Saturday Night Live returned with host Miles Teller and musical guest Kendrick Lamar. It’s a season of change for the venerable late-night comedy series as a slew of veteran cast members left SNL (Aidy Bryant, Pete Davidson, Kate McKinnon, Chris Redd, and Kyle Mooney, just to name a few) while the show also added four new performers (Marcello Hernandez, Molly Kearney, Michael Longfellow, and Devon Walker).

With the first episode of Season 48 in the books, we look to the future. Brendan Gleeson (The Banshees of Inisherin) will host the second episode of the season (with musical guest Willlow), while Megan Thee Stallion pulls double duty on October 15. If you missed last night’s episode, Decider’s here to provide you with all the necessary SNL next-day streaming info you need.

Here’s how to watch the season premiere of Saturday Night Live online.

WILL THE NEW SEASON OF SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE BE ON HULU?

Nope. Unlike previous seasons, new episodes of Saturday Night Live won’t be available for next-day streaming on Hulu.

WHY ISN’T SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE ON HULU?

One word: Peacock. Many of your favorite NBC shows (The Voice, the Law & Order franchise, One Chicago) are no longer available for next-day streaming on Hulu because they moved to the NBCUniversal-owned streaming service Peacock.

SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE NEXT-DAY STREAMING INFO:

New episodes of Saturday Night Live are scheduled to premiere Sunday mornings on both Peacock Premium and NBC.com. It’s possible that the season premiere could be delayed, with the episode debuting in the afternoon instead of the morning. Delays have previously happened due to SNL being a live show.

New episodes should be available to stream on the free version of Peacock eight days after they air on NBC.
