Bravo

Don’t let that stern expression fool you, Bravo is a sweet, lovable, cuddle bug! Be prepared for him to snuggle up next to you on the couch. Up for any adventure, he loves car rides, long walks, and hikes in the park. This smarty pants already knows many commands including sit, stay, wait, lay down, come, drop, and leave it. Bravo is a fast learner who would love to be challenged with new commands or fun games. He will thrive in a home where he can stretch his legs and get plenty of mental and physical stimulation. Bravo has had a rough past and it takes time to build a relationship with him, but he is fiercely loyal once you have earned his trust. He can be protective at times and prefers to be handled only by his closest friends but will always look to you for guidance. Bravo would prefer to be the only animal in the home as he is not yet comfortable around other dogs. If you are looking for a loving and loyal companion, then ask us about adding Bravo to your family!

Lucy

Lucy is a sassy, mid-size girl who loves a bath in a bucket. But what girl doesn’t? When she’s not playing, she can be found happily walking nicely on a leash, running, swimming, going to the park, and chewing on tough toys. This athlete is also obedient and smart – she knows how to roll over, “sit,” “down,” “come,” and “stay.” Lucy loves her people but will do best as the only pet in an adult home only and will need slow introductions to strangers or visitors in the home. Lucy checks every box, described as affectionate, curious, and very sweet. What more could you want in a best friend? Ask about Lucy today!

Tiny Tot

Tiny Tot has a big personality in a tiny package. Tiny Tot is curious but cautious about the world around him. It takes him a little time to build trust with new people, but once he does he shows his silly and affectionate side. If you’d like to meet Tiny Tot, please fill out an adoption application today.

Rocket

Rocket is a little firecracker that loves head rubs and LOVES the people that give them. He’s blind, but you’d never know it – he’s a fearless adventurer and adores exploring! He also has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), so he’s a little wobbly when he runs around. He also gets along great with other cats and would be happy in a house with cat friends.
Rocket is a special cat with tons of love to give, and we’re dying for him to find an amazing home. Come in and meet him today!

Sage

Are you looking to up your daily dose of laughter, cuddles, and “Aww” moments? Overrun with too many ping pong balls and no one to play with them? Sage is here to help! She is looking for a family to play with, purr at, snuggle with, and take up all their phone storage with pictures of her adorable face. She loves to snuggle and ride on your shoulders. Sage is ready to light up your home and enliven your life. She cannot wait to meet you!

Alfred

Alfred is a sensitive boy who will thrive in a home where he can have the time and space to come out of his shell. He may need some time to warm up to unfamiliar faces, but once he’s in a loving home his sweet personality will shine. Will you give this gentle boy a chance?

RSQ

RSQ is a non-profit animal rescue in St. George, Utah. Our mission is to be a voice for the voiceless, bettering the lives of animals in Utah’s rural communities. All the animals in our care are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, and any medical care they may need before adoption. We are open for walk-in visitors on Thursdays, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. For more information on RSQ and our adoptable animals, please contact RSQ at (800) 897-1136 or visit rsqutah.org.

Betty White

Meet Betty White. She was surrendered to RSQ so she could receive medical care. She is the sweetest girl and so very smart. She is entirely potty trained and loves outside time. Typically, she walks off leash with us but does very well on a leash as well. Her back feet are arthritic, but she does pretty well getting around and chasing other dogs. Her very favorite thing is laying in the sunshine, and she hugs with her whole body. She’s good with children and other dogs. Food has also become a favorite, so you must watch what you leave lying around! Amazing girl!

We chose to call her Betty as she was surrendered on Betty White’s 100th birthday. Betty was a huge advocate for the animal community, and we couldn’t think of a better tribute to her than naming this beautiful girl after her.

Daisy

Daisy has been returned to RSQ as her previous owner was unable to care for her anymore. She is a very smart dog and full of fun but will need an experienced and committed handler to provide a loving forever home for her. She will need a home where she can be the only dog (no cats either) and one without small children. Once she gains your trust, Daisy is a very affectionate and loving dog. She rides great in the car and is house-trained. Going on a hike or walk is her favorite activity. Her adoption will come with a high-valued, paid-for training program that will help her learn to build relationships and set her up for success in her new home. The adoption is conditioned on her new owner agreeing to be part of this training process. Inquire with RSQ for more information on this great girl!

Lincoln

Like his Lincoln Highway namesake, Lincoln was the first puppy of his clan on Petfinder. He came in with his 6 siblings after being abandoned on the side of the highway. He is feisty and fun and wants to be your best friend. He loves to fetch and would have an amazing time with agility training. Lincoln would be good in a home with other dogs, with children, or alone.  Apply at rsqutah.org to meet Lincoln today!

Haven

My name is Haven and I’m actually looking for a haven. Could that be with you? I’m a very sweet young cat. I enjoy cheek and chin scratches and cuddles. I also like to bat around cat toys. I’ll be a fun, friendly, affectionate, and adorable addition to your home.  And I’m house-trained.

Garland

Hi! My name is Garland. I’m not the type of garland you’ll hang on your Christmas tree, but I love to drape across your lap. I’m an experienced cuddler and love cheek scratches. I’m a good conversationalist too.  I’m also house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.  Please come in and meet me. I’ll match your décor year-round.

Toph

My name is Toph. I am looking for a calm and loving home. I prefer to have someone all to myself, but I can get along with others. I enjoy chin scratches and hanging out in sunny spots. I can be a bit of a chatterbox. And I’m house-trained.  I hope you will come to see me!

Barkley is everything you want in an Australian Shephard. He’s smart as can be, loving, loyal, has manners and loves walks, hikes, and the outdoors. He is good with men, women, and children. He’s a great dog looking for a loving home. He listens well and likes to train. He will be neutered soon but can go home now and come back for his neuter appointment.

Benji

Benji is a young Aussie mix who is very friendly. He would make a great pet for some lucky family or person. He gets along with other dogs and is good with children. He is still a puppy so take this into consideration as he loves to play. Benji would be a great running partner, too.

Riggs

Riggs is a 3-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who is not only darling and sweet but smart as can be! He’s vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and neutered. He likes men, women, children, and other dogs. He loves walks and playing. He does not do well with ducks, chickens, or any kind of bird. He’s a true Jack Russell! He will cuddle and give kisses, listens well and knows his basic commands, and appears to be potty-trained.

Shira

Shira is a 3-year-old beauty. She is shy at first but loves attention when you give it to her. She would be good in a home with other cats or as an only cat. Shira was a mama last spring and is now ready to find her forever home. Come into PAWS and meet this wonderful cat!

Kiki

Kiki’s antics will keep you entertained! She loves to talk and will tell you stories about her day. This funny sweet 1-year-old girl craves attention and loves a good cuddle. This playful, social and adventurous girl is ready to bring your family so much joy and laughter. Stop into the PAWS Cat Room to meet her.

Myrtle

Myrtle is a true tortie. She loves her human and a lap but is not a fan of other cats. She will tolerate other cats but would be happiest as an only cat. Myrtle is currently in foster so submit an application to be approved and meet her.

Bubba

I love to be included in everything. Whatever you’re up to I’ll be right there with you. I’d make the perfect companion for someone looking for an active lifestyle, and at the end of the day, I make the perfect cuddle buddy. I was found as a stray and they would love to help me find my perfect home.

I’m quite stunning if I do say so myself, but looks aren’t everything! I’m looking forward to finding a lifelong home with people who love and respect me for who I am. In my new home, I’ll love you like no other. Try to think of me as a diamond hidden within the earth; there’s beauty there, but it takes time and effort to bring it to the surface, and once you do that, you will have something incredibly valuable. My adoption fee is $60.

Toby

Hi, I’m Toby. I was found abandoned. Sometimes I tend to get jealous when someone else is getting attention so a home where I could be the focus would allow me to flourish. I was a little reserved and to be honest, scared the first week I was here. Now that I know it’s safe here I have become much more social. Let me reassure you, I would be very happy to meet you and come to live with you. I am going to need lots of exercise and I am a little high energy when I first get outside but then I calm down and really soak up the lovin’ & attention that I am given. Ya know, a guy can’t pass up attention. I sure am ready for my life to look up again and I can’t wait to find a family that I can rely on and love forever. My adoption fee is $60.

Naveah and Nitelite

Nitelite
Naveah

Bonded pair Naveah (6 years old) and Nitelite (4 ½ years old) are mother and daughter looking for a home together! These beautiful ladies were surrendered by their owner due to a change in life circumstances, and they’re anxious to get back to a home environment. Sweet, but shy, we may take a little time to warm up at first, mostly because we’re not sure why we’re here. But once we’re comfortable with you, we turn on the charm. We’re hoping for a quiet home where we can sit on the sofa with you and warm up your bed. Spend some time with us so you can see how great we truly are.  WE WOULD LIKE THEM ADOPTED TOGETHER IF POSSIBLE BUT WILL LET THEM FIND SINGLE HOMES IF NECESSARY. Their adoption fees are $40.
