Colorado Mesa comes up short in double overtime

Grand Junction, CO (KREX) The Colorado Mesa Mavericks found themselves down 28-14 at the half and battled all the way back to tie the game before the end of regulation and sent the game to overtime. They would eventually fall in double overtime, 42-34. Quarterback Karst Hunter would lead the Mavericks in rushing with 111 yards on 17 carries. He had a rushing touchdown to go with his 336 yards passing, 2 passing touchdowns, and 2 interceptions in a losing cause.
