IN PETERBOROUGH.. NO ONE IS HURT TONIGHT.. AFTER A POLICE CRUISER SLAMMED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. IT HAPPENED ON ROUTE TWO-OH- TWO NORTH JUST BEFORE SIX THIS EVENING. THE OFFICER WAS DRIVING AFTER áANOTHERá PERSON TO ISSUE A SPEEDING VIOLATION.

Peterborough police said an officer and a civilian crashed Saturday on Route 202 north. Police said the officer was driving after someone around 5:50 to issue a speeding violation when his car and another vehicle crashed.The officer and man driving the other car were not hurt, according to the department. The crash damaged both cars.Peterborough police said they do not investigate their own traffic violations. The Greenfield Police Department will investigate the crash.
