THE YEAR. FALL IS NOW HERE AND NEW ALBANY IS CELEBRATING WITH A BELOVED TRADITION AND HARVEST HOMECOMING KICKED OFF TODAY WITH A STARTING AT NEW ALBANY HIGH SCHOOL AND ENDING ON BANK STREET. THE PARADE FEATURED FLOATS, BANDS AND VINTAGE CARS. THIS YEAR’S PARADE THEME WAS A FALL FAIRY TALE. ORGANIZERS SAY THE FESTIVAL IS A GREAT TIME FOR RESIDENTS OF NEW ALBANY AND VISITORS TO GET TOGETHER AND. JUST CELEBRATE THE FALL SEASON. EVERYBODY LOVES HARVEST AND NEW ALBANY BECAUSE IT’S JUST SUCH A GREAT TIME FOR COMMUNITY AND IT’S A GREAT TIME TO CATCH UP WITH YOUR OLD FRIENDS, MEET NEW FRIENDS, EAT YOUR WAY THROUGH ALL OF DOWNTOWN. Fall is here and New Albany is celebrating with a beloved tradition.Harvest Homecoming kicked off Saturday with a parade starting at New Albany High School and ending on Bank Street.The parade featured floats, bands and vintage cars.This year's parade theme was a fall fairy tale.Organizers say the festival is a great time for residents of New Albany and visitors to get together and celebrate the fall season."Everybody loves harvest in New Albany because it's just such a great time for community, and it's a great time to catch up with your old friends, meet new friends, eat your way through all of downtown, so it's just a great time for everyone," Allyson Glass said.Next week, the festival's Booth Days return, kicking off on Thursday and running through Sunday.There are also some new surprises for this year's harvest, including a haunted house.
