Pitt Lands Four-Star G Jaland Lowe

PITTSBURGH -- Jeff Capel landed the third commitment in the class of 2023 for his Pitt Panthers after four-star guard Jaland Lowe, a 6'1 guard from Missouri City, Texas. Lowe made his announcement on Instagram.
Lowe joins four-star shooting guard Carlton Carrington and three-star small forward Marlon Barnes in a 2023 recruiting class that now ranks 15th nationally in 247Sports' database. It's second in the ACC to only Duke. If that holds, it would be the highest-rated recruiting class of Capel's four-year tenure as head coach at Pitt.
Lowe held 13 offers in all and he chose the Panthers over the likes of Texas Tech, Memphis, Oklahoma State, Washington State and others.
