HEALTH ISSUES. THIS MORNING. ONE PERSON WAKING UP IN THE HOSPITAL AFTER CRASHING INTO THE TAYLOR RIVER IN HAMPTON. HAMPTON FIRE OFFICIALS IT HAPPENED CLOSE TO 1:00 IN THE MORNING AFTER THE VEHICLE TRAVELED THROUGH THE MEDIAN BEFORE STRIKING THE TAYLOR RIVER BRIDGE AND GOING AIRBORNE. THE LONE OCCUPANT SUFFERED AN SPECIFIED INJURIES WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL TREATMENT. THIS CRASH REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION OFFICIAL

A vehicle traveling on Interstate 95 early Saturday morning went airborne and ended up in the Taylor River, officials said.Hampton Fire Rescue said a call was received for a vehicle that was going south on I-95, left the road, went airborne and landed on the rock alongside the road.When crews arrived, they found the vehicle in the Taylor River between the southbound and northbound overpasses, Hampton Fire Rescue said.New Hampshire State Police said when troopers arrived, they found a Honda Pilot damaged heavily, lying on its side in the Taylor River. The on-scene investigation determined that the vehicle was going south when it left the roadway, went through the median, struck the Taylor River Bridge and went airborne, state police said. The crash caused the vehicle to roll and land on its passenger side. The driver was extricated then taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital for injuries they sustained, state police said.
