Alabama took a 14-0 first-half lead at Arkansas but all eyes were on the Crimson Tide injury tent.

Quarterback Bryce Young was favoring his right shoulder and threw his helmet after leaving the field. It followed his first throw after grabbing his shoulder on a sack by former Crimson Tide linebacker Drew Sanders.

CBS reported hearing a scream from the injury tent after Young entered. He was in the tent for almost 15 minutes before jogging to the locker room.

Saban was asked about Young’s injury on CBS as he exited the field with a 28-7 halftime lead.

“He’s got a shoulder injury but I don’t know the extent of it,” Saban said. “I don’t know how bad it is. They’re working on him inside.”

Young emerged from the halftime locker room in uniform and warmed up taking shotgun snaps and handing off. CBS reported he is “questionable” to play in the second half.

The reigning Heisman Trophy winner was 7-for-13 for 173 yards with a touchdown and interception early in the showdown with No. 20 Arkansas.

Young entered the day completing 68.6% of his throws for 257.3 yards a game with 13 touchdowns and two interceptions.

Backup Jalen Milroe entered the game with Young in the tent and promptly ran for a 3-yard touchdown to make it a 21-0 game with 8:29 to play in the first half.
