CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – The Browns downgraded defensive ed Myles Garrett to out Saturday and he will not play against the Falcons.
Garrett was listed as questionable Friday after returning to the team Thursday following a single car accident Monday afternoon.
Garrett will not travel with the team to Atlanta and will remain home to rest.
Garrett suffered a sprained left shoulder, right biceps strain as well as other cuts, bumps and bruises as a result of the accident.
Garrett was cited for failure to control by the Ohio State Highway Patrol following the crash that saw Garrett swerve off of State Road in Sharon Township located in Medina County, hit a ditch and fire hydrant and roll over multiple times.
Garrett, who has received six other citations related to excessive speeding since 2017 in northeast Ohio, told investigators he believed he was traveling 65 miles per hour in the 45 zone at the time of the accident.
Friday afternoon, Garrett spoke about the accident and how lucky he felt to have escaped it without any serious injury.
The Browns made three other roster moves Saturday morning.
The team signed tight end Miller Forristall to the active roster from the practice squad and elevated defensive tackle Roderick Perry II and defensive end Curtis Weaver to the active roster from the practice squad.
