Police: Man wanted for robbing Brooklyn supermarket, stabbing employee

They say the suspect tried to leave the store without paying for any of the items he had with him.

Police say need help locating a man who robbed a Pioneer Supermarket in Bushwick on Wednesday.
They say the suspect tried to leave the store without paying for any of the items he had with him.
One of the store employees tried to intervene and stop him, but a verbal argument escalated and the suspect slashed the victim multiple times with a broken bottle before running off southbound on MacDonough Street.
The victim was taken to a hospital and received stitches to his arm.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the police.
