JENKS -- The Ponca City Lady Cats softball team has been assigned to the Jenks Class 6A Regional Tournament and will play Bartlesville in the opening round on Wednesday.

The Ponca City-Bartlesville game is set to be played at noon on Wednesday. In a 10 a.m. game, Jenks will play Del City.

Should Ponca City defeat Bartlesville, it would play the winner of the Jenks-Del City game at 4 p.m. Wednesday. In the double-elimination tournament format, should the Lady Cats lose the opener, they would play the loser of the Jenks-Del City game at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

The tournament finals are scheduled Thursday.

Ponca City has compiled a 24-12 record so far this season. In an earlier meeting, Bartlesville defeated the Lady Cats 6-3.
