7 400-yard passing games for Mississippi State QB Will Rogers, tied for the most in SEC history. Kentucky QB Tim Couch had seven 400-yard passing games in the 1997 and 1998 seasons. Rogers equaled Couch’s feat in MSU’s 45-14 victory over Bowling Green last week, when he completed 38-of-49 passes for 406 yards with six TDs and no interceptions. Rogers’ six TD tosses tied the school record as he became the eighth SEC player with at least two games with six or more TD passes. Couch is the only player with three. The other SEC players with two games with six or more TD passes are Arkansas’ Brandon Allen, Florida’s Terry Dean, Danny Wuerffel and Kyle Trask, LSU’s Joe Burrow and Missouri’s Drew Lock.
