CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Chesterfield Police and fire crews responded to a fire at the Goodyear Allen Tire on Midlothian turnpike on Saturday morning.
Fire crews reported to the 13000 block of Midlothian turnpike in Chesterfield County at approximately 6 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, for a fire at the Goodyear Allen Tire. When crews arrived, they found heavy fire in the front part of the building that spread to the roof.
The fire was under control by 9 a.m., according to Chesterfield Fire.
The business was not open at the time of the fire and no one was inside, according to Chesterfield Fire. No injuries were reported.

Chesterfield Fire reports that the busines will be closed for an extended period of time.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.
First responders were assisted by the Chesterfield County Police Department.
