The Senior’s Writing Class at the Pitt County Council on Aging held a birthday party this week for one of its favorites, Dr. Earl Trevathan.

Trevathan, who turned 99 on Friday, was a longtime pediatrician and health care pioneer in Greenville and is a well-known storyteller.
