Knoxville (Iowa) Hospital and Clinics Foundation has received a $1.4 million gift for its new infusion center from Don and Margaret Long, The Oskaloosa Herald reported Sept. 29.
The donation supports an overall $21 million project to expand the hospital with a new surgical suite, larger clinic space for specialists and an emergency room renovation.
The new infusion center will include private treatment spaces with 10 treatment chairs and room for family members and support people, as well as new equipment and technology.
