KALAMAZOO, MI – At this point in the high school football season, every game carries playoff implications, and every block and every tackle are made with a little more urgency.
That was certainly the case around Kalamazoo on Friday, as several contests came down to the wire, including Colon holding off Climax-Scotts, 25-20, in a battle of unbeatens and a pair of one-point wins by Parchment and Dowagiac.
There were also some offensive fireworks, with the St. Joseph-Portage Northern, Edwardsburg-Paw Paw and Centreville-Cassopolis games each accumulating at least 80 points between the two teams.
Follow along to see all the Kalamazoo-area final scores from a busy Week 6 of the 2022 high school football season.
