The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting on the interstate.Just before 8 p.m., officers responded to a shots fired call on I-10 East near the Norman C. Francis Parkway overpass. Once there, investigators discovered a vehicle on the shoulder of the interstate with gunshot damage.The driver, an adult male, was inside the vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot sounds.
