A woman says her two emotional support dogs were stolen from a friend's home in Carney.
She says that friend was supposed to be taking care of them while she was away.
The woman says her basset hound and her great dane helped her with her anxiety.
She is speaking out desperate to get them back.
"I used to have really bad depression and anxiety," Callie Lackey said. "I got Joey when he was six weeks old and I got Humphrey when he was eight weeks old."
"Joey could tell when I was getting overwhelmed or upset or about to cry," Lackey said. "He would come put his head in my lap."
She says the dogs may have been taken by her friend's boss.
"Her boss apparently rehomed them or took them to the vet," Lackey said. "She says she doesn’t remember what she did with them though."
Lackey is asking anyone who lives in the Carney area to look out for her dogs.
She says they are not chipped but have rabies tags from a local vet.
"I have contacted every single rescue in Oklahoma and they have no idea what I am talking about," Lackey said. "They have not seen my dogs."
Lackey says it is important for her mental health to get her dogs back.
"I really hope they can be found because even my kids have asked about them," Lackey said.
Lackey says she filed a police report but they told her it was a civil issue instead of a criminal matter.
