Pro Wrestling Hall Of Fame In Texas Shuts Down

According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame in Wichita Falls, TX has shut down.

The closure of the facility coincided with heat on Johnny Mantell, who was in charge of running it. One source said the building was “a wreck” by the time it closed.

Historian and author Tim Hornbaker was able to save some of the items, but a lot of the memorabilia was gone. Some of the items from late historian J. Michael Kenyon, as well as his ashes and instructions for their disposal, were recovered. Wrestling Classics’ Crimson Mas said those instructions were ignored.

The official website for the Hall of Fame has also expired.
