Another step closer to the end, and tonight sees the remaining acts all perform to book their places in next week's semi final

8 become 5 tonight as it's a TRIPLE elimination, although
one of those going sustains an injury and has to withdraw and unmask

Last eliminated

Peter Crouch does make me chuckle. I like him as a judge.

My new guesses below, in spoiler tags for those who haven't watched yet as I have mentioned clues from tonight's show:

After watching tonight, I now know who Candlestick is, and he has been guessed on here (so credit to the poster whose husband got him):

    This is, 100%:
Liam Charles from GBBO/Bake Off the Professionals/Junior Bake Off. The voice is him, and there were clues in the VT about texture and centrepiece. Plus, Jonathan mentioned the backing dancers having either TA or SS written on their costumes - TA standing for Tom Allen who he presented Bake Off the Professionals with, and SS standing for Show Stopper.

I also think Peter's got it sussed for Scissors based on the clues from tonight and also how they measure up with Joel height-wise, this being:
Kelly Rowland - well Michelle already went on the singing version, unless she's going for a Masked triple.

Pearly King's voice didn't seem to match who either I or the panel were thinking it was, so I'm a bit confused now.
I thought Jonathan had it with Gino D'Acampo last week, but I'm leaning more towards it being Bruno Tonioli now after tonight's routine. Bruno's the one who I think the word 'Budgies' might relate to more, but the voice sounded deeper, more gruff almost.

Sea Slug I honestly thought was male before the voice reveal tonight, but my mom might have guessed it:
Initially she said Rebecca Adlington, but after the voice and clue word reveal of 'Goddess' she changed her mind to Sharron Davies - Sharron was on the original 'Gladiators' series as Amazon, so that word would fit with her.

Onomatopoeia was brilliant again, this is one that I'm struggling with but I do like the guess in the individual thread of:
Andre Gray, a footballer who has recently had twins with Little Mix's Leighanne Pinnock.

And last but not least, Odd Socks. Probably the one that I really don't have a clue about, but I'll take a punt:
Doctor's coat and alien references do point to Doctor Who, so I wonder if it might be Mandeep Gill, who was also previously in Hollyoaks.

Was I the only one confused over how many eliminations there were meant to be and if there was meant to be a dance off? Some right bloopers there in what they said was going on and what did with perhaps a spoiler or two if you paid attention.

Other than Sea Slug and Tomato Sauce, the voices didn't really help much! Sorry to see Pillar and Post go through injury though; even though they were never going to win, it's never nice to see someone have to withdraw.

Did they say how many to go next week?

Did no one watch this last night? Very surprised this thread is still on Page 1. What's going on? Lol. Everyone watching Strictly instead?

Steph McGovern was a nice reveal. I guessed her myself from the clues, decent dancer as well.

I think everyone figured out Post and Pillar was Seaman and his missus.

This show is no patch on The Masked Singer and as much as I love the show I am losing interest in this series.

It's just not working as well for me this time, especially when you get some poor dancers.

I hope Pearly King isn't Gino, that would be a bit disappointing. But it probably is him...

I do think it worked better when they aired it over a week last time. With The Masked Singer, you’ve got the voices to help with the clues. With Dancer, I’ve forgotten the clues week on week. It was easier to remember them when it was in every day!

Plus, putting it up against Strictly was never going to be a good move, when you can record this and whizz through the ads at a later time.

I don't think this series is bad. I just think if it's going to go up against Strictly it's going to lose. I'm enjoying it still but maybe they should have changed it to a Sunday night 6pm slot or stripped it over a week like last year.
