Tino Ortega is an El Paso 3D mylar balloon muralist who has created some of the most recent popular photo spots in El Paso, Texas.
Through his art, he has showcased the city’s culture by painting the famous phrases that identify the border city like “Ay Ay!”, “915” and “Chuco”.
Just recently, he traveled to Uvalde, Texas to paint a mural in honor of the Robb Elementary School victims that ties in with his goal of honoring the victims of the 2019 mass shooting in El Paso.
Tino Ortega opened Galeria Lincoln in early 2020 and was chosen by the City of El Paso to create a new memorial mural for the 23 victims of the Walmart shooting.
His goal is to incorporate El Paso’s Culture into his murals, make the city a more unified place and increase the overall experience of the border region.
