Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office reported that a man had his car and his dog stolen from a grocery store parking lot on Thursday afternoon. Kevin Brinkman stopped at a Winn Dixie to pick up a few items and left his car running with his dog in the backseat of the car. When Brinkman returned, he found that his vehicle and his dog had been stolen. The vehicle is a 2019 Grey Nissan Versa and was stolen from the Winn Dixie parking lot, located on the corner of Elise and 5901 Airline Hwy in Jefferson Parish. The Humane Society of Louisiana is offering a $500 reward for the safe return of Nila. Nila is a well-fed, tan Shar Pei-lab mix who was wearing a blue collar, an emotional support animal tag, and a regular ID tag.If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Nila, please contact the Humane Society of Louisiana at 901-268-4432.
