Power companies across the area have started working to restore power to affected areas. TECO said they expect to restore power to the vast majority of customers by Sunday night, while some customers in Polk and Hillsborough County with more severe damage should be restored by Monday night.

Power is still out in the extended stay hotel, Woodsprings suites in lkld. 4000 N. Fl ave 33805, I have lost food for my son and myself. Have taken cold showers for 3 days. And charging my phone in my car. While still trying to get help to find a place to live with no help from salvation army,apli, or anyone with these things that HUD has stated they have given money to help the homeless. I just want to get my own place and not live like this.
