Chamber Coffee

There is no Chamber Coffee this Friday morning. If your business or organization is interested in hosting coffee, call the Chamber at 620-356-4700.

Fall Fest

The Grant County Chamber invites you to Fall Fest on Saturday, October 1st in downtown Ulysses. There will be food, fun and entertainment all day long.

Safety Fest

In connection with Fall Fest, Pioneer Electric and Pioneer Communications will sponsor Safety Fest on Grant Street from 10 AM to Noon on Saturday, Octobre 1st. Enjoy the free hot dog feed, vendors and giveaways.

Sons of Thunder

The Southwest Kansas Chapter of Sons of Thunder will gather on Thursday, October 6th at New Beginnings Church, 837 N. Baughman. Enjoy the meal, fellowship, worship, and a guest speaker. The meal begins at 6:30 p.m.

Farmer’s Market

The Farmer’s Market is being held each Saturday morning at the Historic Adobe Museum in Ulysses. Bring your home grown, hand made and hand crafted items to sell beginning at 8:00 AM. There is no charge. Call the museum at 620-356-3009 for more information.

Library Closing

The Grant County Library will be closed all day on Friday, September 30th for staff training.

USD 214 Board of Education

The School Board’s next meeting will be Monday, October 10, 2022, 7:00 PM at Joyce School.

Commissioners

The next Grant County Commissioners meeting will be Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the courthouse at 9:00 AM. The meeting is open to the public.

City Council

The Ulysses City Council will meet on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, 5:00 PM at City Hall. Open to the public.

Rec Board Meeting

The next meeting of the Grant County Recreation Board will be on Monday, October 3rd at 5:30 PM at the Recreation office.

Medical Fund

A medical fund has been set up at Golden Plains Credit Union for Solia Ochoa to help with medical expenses and travel.  Donations can be dropped off at any GPCU location or mailed to GPCU PO Box 868 Ulysses, Ks 67880.

Medical Fund

A medical fund has been established at Grant County Bank for Susana Barron. She has been diagnosed with pancreatic/lung cancer. Donations can be brought in or mailed to 201 S. Main.
