AND THEY’RE PLANNING A SMALL CEREMONY AT 930 THIS MORNING. AFTER THAT, THE PUMPKIN SEASON STARTS OUT AT DUTCH HOLLOW PUMPKIN PATCH. IT ALSO INCLUDES A FARM AREA AND A PETTING ZOO. THERE IS A NEW ENTRANCE, BY THE WAY, OFF OF SANTA FE AVENUE, AND IT’S GOING TO BE OPEN FROM 9 A.M. TO 7 P.M., 15TH ANNUAL BREWFEST AT THE BALLPARK TAKES PLACE TONIGHT AT SUTTER HEALTH PARK. VIP TICKET HOLDERS GET INTO 530. EVERYONE ELSE, 630 NEARLY 40 BREWERIES REPORTING THEIR CREATIONS WILL ALSO BE FOOD TRUCKS, LIVE MUSIC. THOSE VIP TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT, BUT THEY’RE STILL GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS FOR 60 BUCKS. AND THIS WEEKEND, OLD SACRAMENTO BRINGS BACK THE MUSIC WITH AURORA. IN 20 YEARS, JUBILEE JAZZ, RAGTIME AND BANJO GROUPS WILL BE PERFORMING AT SEVERAL LOCATIONS IN OLD SACRAMENTO. TODAY THROUGH SUNDAY, EVERYTHING IS FREE FROM 1105 EACH DAY. THEN TICKETS FOR THE EVENING PERFORMANCES TONIGHT AND TOMORROW. THOSE ARE $25 EACH. THE 28TH ANNUAL GIANT PUMPKIN FESTIVE. ALL IS TAKING PLACE TOMORROW AND SUNDAY AT ELK GROVE REGIONAL PARK. THE HIGHLIGHT IS THE WAY OFF. IT’S TOMORROW MORNING WITH THE LARGEST PUMPKINS IN THE WEST. IN THE PAST, THEY’VE HAD PUMPKINS THAT HAVE BEEN £2,000 AND BACK FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE THE PANDEMIC IT’S THE PUMPKIN REGATTA ON SUNDAY WHERE PEOPLE TRY KEYWORD TRY TO ROW ACROSS THE LAKE IN A PUMPKIN SHELL AND A COUPLE OF BIG EVENTS IN SOLANO COUNTY THE 36TH ANNUAL LAMB TOWN FESTIVAL RUNS FROM NINE UNTIL FIVE SATURDAY 9 TO 4. From the return of the Capital Airshow and NASCAR to corn mazes, pumpkin contests and events to raise awareness for important issues, there’s a lot to do this weekend in Northern California. Here is a look at what’s happening and interviews with organizers for some of these activities. California Capital Air Show If you live anywhere in Sacramento County, you may be able to catch some of the flyovers for the Capital Air Show. But you can catch a closer look at Mather Airport in Rancho Cordova. A drive-in airshow on Friday kicks things off with opening ceremonies starting at 3:30 p.m. The event continues through Sunday and tickets are available online. Learn more here. Laci Peterson Corn Maze A Modesto farm is dedicating its corn maze this year to Laci Peterson. This December marks 20 years since Laci and her unborn son, Conner, were killed. Dutch Hollow Farms said they got permission from Laci’s mom to dedicate the maze to her memory. The farm also has a pumpkin patch and petting zoon. Learn more here. California Capital Air Show

If you live anywhere in Sacramento County, you may be able to catch some of the flyovers for the Capital Air Show. But you can catch a closer look at Mather Airport in Rancho Cordova.
