Avalanche visited by puppies at practice

The Colorado Avalanche made some new fur-ever friends.

Puppies from local Denver shelter, MAMCO Rescue, visited the Avalanche at practice on Friday.
The adorable furry friends ran around the Avalanche locker room and snuggled with the players.

Alex Newhook was a fan favorite among the puppies and had three of them competing for his attention at once.

Gabriel Landeskog FaceTimed his daughter while holding a precious puppy in a video posted to the Avalanche's Twitter account.
"Are you bringing that to my house?" Landeskog's daughter asked her dad over the phone.

A few Avalanche players might have become new dog dads after practice.
