Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore Reveal an Update on Their Friendship Today

The RHOA ladies had some tension on RHUGT… so, are they in a better place today?

Vacationing in Turks and Caicos for The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 1 wasn’t all fun in the sun for The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore. Despite ending the getaway with their friendship still on the rocks, the ladies seem to have found their way back to each other once again.

How to Watch

On September 30, Cynthia and Kenya attended a Mary J. Blige concert together in Atlanta, and we’re happy to report that there was no hateration to be found in the dancery. Sharing several concert photos and videos on Instagram the same night, Cynthia thanked Kenya for inviting her to the show, along with two other women. Cynthia also referenced the title of the Grammy winner’s 2001 hit, adding “no more drama” in a telling hashtag.

In her Instagram Stories, the RHOA alum also shared several other videos of herself singing and dancing with Kenya at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena. After reposting one of the Kenya Moore Hair Care founder’s pre-concert IG Stories, Cynthia wrote, “My date tonight gave me a special treat,” adding a “date night” graphic.

That was just a small piece of the content Kenya shared from their night out. Posting one of the same photos as Cynthia to her grid, the RHOA cast member also included a “no more drama” hashtag, signaling that they’ve moved way past any RHUGT arguments. Meanwhile, Cynthia commented on Kenya’s post with a red heart emoji, so it seems safe to say they’re on the same page about that too.

She was hardly the only Bravoleb who had thoughts about the lively reunion. While RHOA’s Eva Marcille called the women “beauties,” Married to Medicine’s Dr. Contessa Metcalfe referred to them as “Sister Friends” in a hashtag, adding two red heart emojis to her comment. Meanwhile, The Real Housewives of Dubai’s Chanel Ayan wrote, “Gorgeous,” along with five red heart emojis.

Months before the concert, Kenya gave The Daily Dish a friendship update in May, revealing that Cynthia had just invited her to an Atlanta event. Though she “wasn’t able to make it,” Kenya was glad that they were “getting back to hanging out and seeing each other” again.

Later, the women finally reunited when they both attended The Real Housewives of New Jersey ’Wife Teresa Giudice’s wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas on August 6. Though they hadn’t seen each other “in a while,” Cynthia told The Daily Dish that she and Kenya got to “reconnect” that day and that it was “great to see her.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Cynthia explained that RHUGT “was tough” for her, since she was “going through a lot” and was in “a weird space” at the time. Even so, she credited Kenya with going out of her way to discuss their issues after the cameras stopped rolling.

“[Kenya] definitely made me feel like it was important to her for us to actually have a conversation, because for me, no matter what we go through… There’s always gonna be problems,” Cynthia shared. “We’re still not as close as we used to be, but that’s OK. We’re in a good place.”

And if their concert “date night” is any indication, they seem to be in an even better place now.
