The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department is searching for a suspect after a fatal Friday morning shooting.Officers were called to the 2700 block of Benton Boulevard around 9:45 a.m. Friday to investigate reports of a shooting.When they arrived, they found Antwon Jones, 30, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds inside an apartment.Jones was rushed to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.Detectives and crime scene personnel are working to process the scene and speak with any potential witnesses in this case.Anyone with information that might help is asked to call KCPD homicide detectives at 816-234-5043, or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
