After freshman forward Randy Montie went missing and was later found, Vermont (7-1-1) returned to the pitch for its second day of practices back on Thursday.
"In these types of situations, always communication, conversation and an arm around the back is the most important," said men's soccer head coach Rob Dow. He added that Montie is currently with a member of his family and getting the help he needs.
The 16th-ranked Catamounts now prepare to return to game action, starting with a matchup on the road against UMass Lowell. Junior Max Murray enters the game having won back-to-back America East offensive player of the week awards, an impressive accomplishment for the former defensive player.
"It's something you always dream about, scoring goals," said Murray. "I have to give it up for my teammates for giving me those chances."
The Kennebunkport native looks to continue that hot stretch on the road against UMass Lowell (1-4-3). The game is set to start at 3 p.m.
