Police arrest 15-year-old in connection to Homewood shooting

A 15-year-old Pittsburgh boy has been arrested and charged with a shooting in Homewood last month.

Pittsburgh Public Safety says they were called to the 800 Block of North Murtland Street on August 28 and found a man shot in the upper leg.

The victim was transported to the hospital in serious condition.

The suspect was arrested today by the U.S. Marshal’s Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force and Pittsburgh Police

The suspect faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault, robbery, criminal attempt, reckless endangerment of another person and various firearm violations.

The suspect has not been identified.
