KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man is dead Friday after he was found shot inside an apartment near 27th and Benton Boulevard.
According to police at about 9:45 a.m., officers responded to the area after a reported shooting.
They found the man inside the apartment with gunshot wounds and he was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police have identified the victim as 30-year-old Antwon Jones. Officials have not released any suspect information at this time.
