The average price for a gallon of regular gas in Sonoma County is up another ten-cents today. It’s now at $6.44, and nearing the all-time record of $6.61 set in mid-June. The price is up 65-cents from last Friday. Today’s statewide average is $6.29 per gallon. That’s after an eleven-cent overnight increase. Triple-A says demand for gas has increased amid tight supply and fluctuating oil prices, warning this could continue through the weekend. If you are filling up the tank today, the cheapest gas in Sonoma County is at Baywood Gas Mart in Petaluma, where a gallon of unleaded is going for $5.79.
