Six arrested during drug bust in Shelby County
Authorities took six people into custody after a drug bust in Shelby County on Wednesday.
The Shelby County Drug Enforcement Task Force executed three home search warrants in the 100 block of 11th Street SE. and one in the 400 block of Third Street NE. in Alabaster.
Investigators found methamphetamine, fentanyl, marijuana, MDMA, assorted pills and several firearms. They arrested six people and say two people remain at large.
Officials said Antonio Dewaine Hale, 44, D'Andre Lashaun Sowell, 41, Jamica Shuntel Lilly, 32, Walter Lewis Tanniehill, 65, Jeffery Lloyd Grant Jr., 32, and Jamarcus Latrell Green, 23, all of Alabaster, were taken into custody.
The Drug Task Force was assisted by the Alabaster Police Department, the Shelby County Tactical Response Unit, and the Hoover Police Department Special Reaction Team.
