Defensive back Mark Gilbert has been signed back to the practice squad.

To make room, center Ryan McCollum has been released.

Gilbert has been on and off the practice squad the past two seasons.

He played in eight games for Detroit last season with two tackles and one forced fumble.

Gilbert played against the Steelers in the preseason game for the Lions but was cut before the season.

At Duke, 2016-2020, Gilbert had 65 total tackles, seven interceptions, 17 pass breakups and five tackles for loss.
