Syracuse, N.Y. — All-CNY girls lacrosse player Julianna Cogliandro has committed to play lacrosse for Duke University.

The junior midfielder from Fayetteville-Manlius announced her decision to join the Blue Devils via Instagram on Thursday.

During her sophomore season with the Hornets, Cogliandro scored 56 goals, had 16 assists and controlled 56 draws for the Section III Class B champions. Her 56 goals were fifth-most in Section III Class B last spring and her 56 draw controls were sixth-most.

Duke finished last season 16-4 and lost in the second round of the NCAA tournament to No. 2 seed Maryland.
