WATCH: Guillermo del Toro Gets Creepy with Trailer for Cabinet of Curiosities

The horror anthology series premiere on Netflix in October.
  • Things are getting spooky on Netflix this season thanks to Guillermo del Toro.

    In the terrifying trailer for Netflix horror anthology Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities, we get a glimpse of the eight stories the filmmaker has in store for us. The streamer promises "a collection of unprecedented and genre-defining stories meant to challenge our traditional notions of horror", including two original stories from del Toro himself, H.P. Lovecraft adaptations, and more. 

    The series will feature stars like F. Murray Abraham, Rupert Grint, Tim Blake Nelson, Essie Davis, Andrew Lincoln, Ben Barnes, Crispin Glover, Eric André, and more, each starring in various scary stories throughout the season. "From macabre to magical, gothic to grotesque or classically creepy", Cabinet of Curiosities explores the many corners of horror.

    Series creator Guillermo del Toro will narrate the series himself, introducing these unsettling tales. Titles for the series - release schedule not announced yet - are The AutopsyDreams in the Witch HouseGraveyard RatsLot 36The Murmuring, The OutsidePickman's Model, and The Viewing.

    Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities premieres on Netflix October 25, with two episodes dropping each day through October 28.
