Greensboro hotel, gas station robbed overnight; suspects get away with cash
Greensboro police officers are looking for suspects in a hotel robberyand a gas station robbery.

The first robbery happened Thursday around 10:50 p.m. at the Microtel Inn on Big Tree Way.
Officers responded and learned a man, armed with a handgun, entered the hotel and took cash before leaving in a light-colored sedan, police say.
The suspect was described as a male, standing 5 feet 9 inches tall, wearing a ski-type mask and white shirt with black pants.
Hours later, around 4 a.m. Friday, officers responded to the Circle K gas station on Green Valley Road in reference to a robbery.
An unknown suspect entered the business, showed a threatening note and took cash.
The suspect was wearing a mask and glasses, police say.
It's unknown if the hotel robbery is connected to the gas station robbery.
"Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Greensboro/Guilford Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000," a news release said.
