NEXT Weather: First weekend of October looks mild, with only a few sprinkles
MINNEAPOLIS -- Things are looking pretty ideal for the first weekend of October.
WCCO meteorologist Lisa Meadows says that the weekend will have highs in the low 70s and overnight lows in the low 50, which is mild for this time of year.
Expect partly cloudy days with a few sprinkles possible on Saturday.

There is a chance for some rain on Tuesday, but it won't be enough to make a significant dent in drought conditions.
The latter part of the week looks to cool off, with highs on either side of the 50-degree mark, and lows potentially below freezing.
