Officers with the Paducah Police Department recently helped an elderly man during a medical emergency.

Police said they were called to a home on Adams Street on Wednesday in reference to unknown trouble. 

Once at the residence they could hear someone yelling for help inside the home. Officers Brandon Cupp and Cameron Thomason made entry and located an elderly male having a medical emergency. 

They reportedly were able to ascertain the man's symptoms and relay the information to Emergency Medical Services. 

Officer Cupp and Thomason are both four year veterans of the Paducah Police Department and are both assigned to 3rd shift.
