A Charleston man is held with no bond in the Pemiscot County Justice Center for the shooting death of a Hayti man in Caruthersville a week ago. 18 year old Zy’Quan Williams was arrested Wednesday following a traffic stop by Cape Girardeau Police and the MSHP.
Williams is accused of killing 19 year old Hershel Grant, who was found shot Friday night after police were called to 1500 block of Schultz Street. He died early Saturday at a Memphis hospital.
Williams is charged with first degree murder and armed criminal action. He will be arraigned Monday.
