These towns will soon have their own 5G towers.

Several towns and boroughs in the Bucks County area will soon be home to 5G towers, allowing for easier access to wireless services. Peg Quad wrote about the new towers for the Bucks County Courier Times.

Technical.ly, a tech firm with Philadelphia roots, will be installing the towers in the near future. The switch from 4G to 5G towers signifies the ongoing improvements tot the speed and quality of cell phones, computers, and other personal piece so technology.

“5G fixes some of those issues with small cell nodes,” Technical.ly said on its website. “Affixed to streetlights or buildings, these are mini towers that accommodate both wireless and fiberoptic connections to supplement existing cell towers.”

Some of the areas that will see the benefits of the towers include Souderton, Newtown Township, Wrightstown, and Upper Makefield. While there are some who are hesitant to have the towers installed, officials from these areas are excited about the installations and further developments in local residents’ technology.
