Good morning. I'm meteorologist Jacklyn thomas, heading through the day. Today we've got *** very cold start out there this morning *** lot of spots seeing some frost across the region as temperatures have dipped into the low and mid thirties in many areas and up north in some spots dipping below that freezing mark, marking *** freeze as we head through the early hours. But during the day today temperatures should rebound into the sixties for *** good portion of the area and we're gonna stay dry as we end out our week. Today, you'll notice *** couple of clouds streaming by across southern parts of the state and that's well out ahead of Ian, which is of course approaching landfall in the southeastern coast of the United States. But the clouds extending well beyond that system and we're going to get plenty of clouds around as we head into the start of the weekend. But today we'll see sunshine especially the further north you go temperatures do get back into the sixties. And then as we head through tonight, *** mainly cloudy sky. As those clouds fill in some of that moisture reaching *** little bit further up here across New England lows tonight will still be cool falling back into the thirties and forties. So the future cast. Taking us through the end of our week. You'll know notice those increasing clouds at times today and this evening there may be thin high clouds across the state this afternoon filtering that sunshine at times, but noticeably more clouds as we head through the day on saturday, *** mainly cloudy day to start the weekend, but also mainly dry day. At this point, it still looks like most of the shower activity from the remnants of IAN will likely stay just to our south South. Now can't rule out *** light shower or *** Sprinkle mainly south of Concord as we head through Saturday, afternoon or evening, perhaps *** light shower towards the coast. But again, most of the time should stay dry then as we head towards Sunday another day, with *** mix of sun and clouds. Pretty cool temperatures likely in the 50s for most of the state as we head towards the early part of next week.
